This position is based in Banyan Tree Phuket.
Job Purpose:
1. To be responsible for managing daily operations, including the delivery of high standards for guest and ensure that seamless wellbeing experience during their stay. Ensure that all Wellbeing activities programs are implemented and coordinated effectively. Maintenance and cleanliness of the Veya areas, facilities, and equipment in accordance with hotel standards.
2. To collaborate with the Wellbeing Hub and Sales & Marketing team on planning and implementation of the Veya Wellbeing Programme.
Key Result Area
1. Assisting in development of wellness strategy and programs to address guest needs, trend and hotel requirements
2. Monitor and provide utilization data for programs, where appropriate, to various constituents and assist in implementations of new wellness programs and using that data to determine what extra steps should be taken to enhance the success of the programs put in place.
3. Benchmarking with best practice hotels/companies and trends in the wellness space and insights
4. Review of wellness practitioner marketplace to select optimal partners and create wellness activity, promotion and event to increase engagement
5. Define and track measures of revenue success for Veya in both wellness programs and rooms
6. Presents regular updates and reports on the progress of the population and how it has improved since the implementation of wellness programs
General:
1. Manage the resident wellbeing practitioners? and Veya team members delivery of wellbeing programme & activities and upselling opportunities to the guests.
2. To ensure team members follow the Veya standard touchpoints.
3. Ensure through effective supervision that all services offered at Veya are carried out with utmost professionalism, efficiency and courtesy.
4. Interview, hire, train, supervise and evaluate all supervisors and associates of respective division.
5. Ensure the guests? expectations are met or exceeded by providing an efficient, friendly and attentive service.
6. Conduct inspection tours of the premises.
7. Ensure wellbeing facilities are clean and well maintained at all times.
8. To establish an efficient method for the coordination of all Departments, with particular emphasis on cashiers, sales, housekeeping, maintenance, telephone and security.
9. To ensure that a statement of ?blocked rooms? is sent to the Housekeeping Department for the necessary set-ups.
10. Follow up guest satisfaction, courtesy guest to ensure guests are satisfied with Veya activities and standard services and handle guests? complaints.
11. To normally meet and greet all arriving guests, ensuring that their needs are satisfied, their luggage is swiftly sent to their rooms and that they are checked-in in a courteous and efficient manner with no delay.
12. To ensure proper completion of all local government requirements concerning hotel guests.
13. To make regular room inspections and liaise with the Housekeeping Department on any deviations from the standard set-ups.
14. To conduct regular Veya meetings and join with Front Office meetings to keep associates informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvements plans and guest comments.
15. To work closely with Security and assist in investigating all incidents and thefts that may occur within the premises.
Essential Job Skills:
? With base knowledge in some natural healing and wellbeing modalities.
? A deeper knowledge of Nutrition, exercises, stress management and meditation are preferred.
? Excellent interpersonal and wellbeing skills with the ability to inspire guests and associates to a healthier, wellbeing lifestyle.
? Good English Language skills and computer skills.
